sorry I didn't get your comment sooner
but what i did was i put vasaline on the lens cover of my camera and shot that way and then turned it to sepia for some of them i put vasaline on saran wrap and then rubber banded it to the lens

pictorialism was used by early photographers to make photographs seem more like traditional art work they often distorted by chemically altering in the dark room or scratching the film

usually it was to create a dream like state or serene state people make great subjects especially couples or children
